Velbexx FAQs

Velbexx17 Topical Analgesic & Anti-inflammatory Balm is a naturally sourced topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory balm that provides a powerful temporary relief from aches and pains associated with muscle strains, ligament sprains, bruising, tendonitis, bursitis, stiffness and arthritis. Available in 50g and 150g net tubes.

There following preservatives are commonly used in complementary medical and cosmetic products:

The most commonly used preservatives are methyl and propyl and butyl and ethyl paraben.
They are used as inhibitors of microbial growth and to extend shelf life of products.
They are widely used in topical ointments, creams and balms, even though they are known to be toxic.
They are known ingredients that have caused many allergic reactions and skin rashes. Methyl paraben combines benzoic acid with the methyl group of chemicals, which is highly toxic.

Velbexx-17 does not contain parabens and still has two (2) year shelf life.

The second most common preservatives used are imidazolidinyl urea and diazolidinyl urea.
They are well established as a primary cause of contact dermatitis (American Academy of Dermatology).
Two trade names for these chemicals are Germall II and Germall 115.
Neither of the Germall chemicals have a good antifungal, and must be combined with other preservatives.
Germall 115 releases formaldehyde at just over 10°.
These chemicals are toxic.
Velbexx-17 does not contain urea ingredients and still has two (2) year shelf life.

Another commonly used preservative is petrolatum.
It is mineral oil jelly, which can cause skin photosensitivity (i.e., promotes sun damage), and it tends to interfere with the body’s own natural moisturizing mechanism, leading to dry skin.
Manufacturers use petrolatum because it is unbelievably cheap.
Velbexx-17 does not contain petrolatum, does not interfere with body’s own natural moisturizing mechanism.
Even without petrolatum, Velbexx-17 still has two (2) year shelf life.

Synthetic propylene glycol is usually a synthetic petrochemical mix used as a humectant.
It has been known to cause allergic and toxic reactions.

Vegetable Glycerine (excepient ingredient) in Velbexx-17, is used to improve smoothness, providing lubrication and as a humectant.

Vegetable Glycerine in Velbexx-17 helps consumers / patients with sensitive and easily-irritated skin.
It prevents skin dryness with its moisturizing. It draws moisture up through skin layers and slows or prevents excessive drying and evaporation.

Velbexx-17 can assist your Pain Management Plan in the case of a back pain from disc fusion.

However, for a comprehensive approach to this issue, I would recommend following:
Use Velbexx-17 as recommended in the painful and stiff area/s with or without heat packs.
  1. Velbexx-17 can reduce your aches & pains associated with disc fusion.
  2. You will need to use at least in the mornings and evenings but not more than 4 times per day.
  3. Apply the product on the affected area.
  4. You should be able to feel a reduction in pain 5-15 minutes and stiffness within 30 minutes.
  5. Use it for at least 2 weeks prior to assessing whether the addition of Velbexx-17 in your Pain Management is making a difference.
  6. I strongly recommend that you also see one of the healthcare practitioners.
Seek an opinion and treatment from an experienced physiotherapists or chiropractor who will:
  1. Assist in maintaining mobility in adjacent non-fused joints and
  2. Prescribe appropriate exercise program that will help maintain mobility in spine in general (e.g. hydrotherapy etc.)
  3. Assess your biomechanics and posture in order to optimize both.
  4. Great posture and sound biomechanics will reduce the strain on your body parts including your lumbar spine.
